Home Department Attestation
The original document along with the requested supporting documents is submitted to the Under Secretary at the Public Foreigners Department of the state of issue of the original document.
Supporting documents required are as follows :
- Original Document – unlaminated
- Copy of the passport – the name in the document and the passport should read same.
- A letter addressed to the Under secretary
- A copy of the offer letter from the employer, where the applicant is going to work/is working currently
Ministry of External Affairs Attestation
Once the Under Secretary signs and puts his seal on the document stating that it is a Genuine, then the next step is that the document has to be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, since the document holder is going to be employed out of India.
Foreign Embassy Attestation
Once the document has the seal from the Under Secretary and the Ministry of External Affairs, it needs to be finally have the attestation of the Foreign Embassy, where the applicant is going to be employed/work.
